Job Description:
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Order Fulfillment Specialist to manage our order processing operations. This is a vital role in ensuring the swift and accurate processing and delivery of orders.
Essential Job Functions:
- Experience with order management software and databases, inventory control and customer service
- Verifying product availability and report any inventory shortages
- Preparing items for shipping
- Arranging shipping utilizing various technologies for order tracking
- Maintain accurate traceability of all items
- Process, fulfill, and track customer orders accurately using multiple order management software packages
- Updating order records with statuses, charges, payments and customer information
- Manage returns/exchanges and ensure they are handled efficiently
- Coordinate with team members to streamline processes
- Excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of inventory and supply chain procedures, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time to maintain customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with warehousing and shipping teams to ensure timely delivery
- Coordinate with IT Manager on any software or integration modifications and errors
- Ability to handle stressful situations and deadline pressures well
Minimum Position Qualifications/Education:
- High School diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or relevant field is a plus
- Proven work experience as an Order Fulfillment Specialist, Order Processor or similar role
- Must be results-oriented and can work with a high degree of independence
- Excellent oral, written and multi-tasking skills
- Comply with company policies, regulations, training and job junctions
- Ability to work well with others and communicate issues in a timely manner
- Expert attention to detail, organization, and multitasking
- You must always wear personal protective equipment when required
- Must be willing and able to operate a forklift and pallet jack if need arises (training required and completed on as needed basis)
- Ability to work a schedule of (5) full 8-hour workdays per week, with the flexibility to occasionally work overtime, nights and weekends as needed
- Timely and regular attendance.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed
