Position Summary:
The Production Planner will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing production schedules. This position will work closely with the Material Coordinator.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop and manage production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.
- Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and sales teams to ensure alignment of production plans.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding order status, timelines, and any changes.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
- Maintains accurate records of production activities and inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in production planning, preferably in the food or beverage industry.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to tasks and challenges.
